The author has lived in Bermuda, Canada and South Africa while enjoying a global career as a banker and corporate executive. An enthusiastic sailor, scuba diver, and occasional art collector, he draws on the experiences from his travels, business, and recreational pursuits to facilitate his writing. A graduate of the Middlesex University (London) MA Novel Writing programme, B.R. Bentley has published four novels to-date. In 2022, his short story The Passenger was awarded ‘1st Place Fiction’ in The North Shore Writers’ Association - Annual Writing Competition. He currently lives on the west coast of Canada with his wife and their dog.
